CLUB PITCH V.I.P.
Dark and debonair. Bold, yet still traditional. This unique project started as a collaboration between card enthusiast, Duane Cardinez, and Pitch, an LA ad agency. Originally intended as an identity exploration, it manifested into a commemorative passion project. The 2.1 is a nod to the game of blackjack. The tuck design is a richer, reimagined look that can only be truly appreciated in person.
The 2.1: Blackjack Edition is limited to a run of 360 units. This rare edition delivers cardists, gamblers and card collectors an unmatched experience that respects tradition and rewards the imagination.
It’s Pitch Black.
Reserved on one side, bold & bright on the other. When you pull Club Pitch v2.1 cards out of the matte-black premium tuck, it makes a statement. The color black was originally chosen as an homage to the agency’s initiative devoted to passion projects, the name of this initiative was “Pitch Black.”
Inside, The Emerald City.
CLUB PITCH v2.1 an upscale, cardist-friendly, fanning deck with broken borders on both sides. Springs and dribbles come alive with green flashes. Cuts and flourishes have a bright new look. All this in a subtle black tuck with green metallic foil printing.
The inner tuck is a hidden surprise, an emerald city grid, the image of mid-town LA, printed with refractive green metallic foil. It’s the juxtaposition of the subdued outside and the captivating inside that mimics what you will find in the deck design.
The pledge and the prestige.
We wanted to blend a fanning and traditional looking deck. Featuring nearly identical Jokers, this deck contains a unique color change opportunity. While these cards are designed to push any illusionist out of their comfort zone, you’ll still feel right at home with easy-to-recognize pips and faces.
But the magic doesn’t stop there. The unique double backer connects to form a mini-map of Culver City. Line them up just right with the inside of the lip of the tuck, and follow Venice Blvd to PITCH.
