Description

The deck of cards Oxalis wants to represent the beauty of nature and all its characteristics. The word ‘Oxalis’ comes from the Latin and refers to a plant with leaves rich in oxalic acid and slightly sapid taste. In particular, the symbol of the decks highlights a particular species, the spontaneous flora, “the Oxalis Tetraphylla”, characterized by the presence of a four-lobed leaf that recalls good luck and good wishes.

Oxalis V4 will have green as its main color. In summary, the choice of color is a tribute to the trifoliate leaves of Oxalis, a distinctive feature of this plant. The trifoliate leaves, in fact, each have a heart-shaped leaflet with the tip consisting of the petiole.

Each part of the deck refers to the leaves of the oxalis, whose special shape is repeated several times in both the box design and the cards, particularly the pips are leaf-shaped, trying to remain a clean and recognizable design.
