ONE Playing Cards Art by Gaoshua

Description

The Hmong are an ethnic group from China and Southeast Asia. Some also live in North America, South America, Europe, and Australia.

The idea for ONE Playing Cards started last summer when I was looking at some standard face cards. I looked at their clothes and thought how gorgeous it’d be if they wore Hmong clothes.

As a Hmong American artist, this project is special to me. It challenged my skills as an artist, and it also allowed me to share a part of my Hmong background with you in a really fun way!
