The tuck case idea naturally led to a stunning back design. If the tuck case is a bento box, then what needs to be inside the bento box?
Sushi, of course!
Behold, a bold and captivating one-way rendition of a delectable sushi plate viewed from above. As you pick up the deck, it feels as if you’re holding a real bento box, eagerly anticipating the sushi delights within. These items were selected not only for their flavor, but also for their beauty. The carefully selected orange and green color palette creates an eye-catching, high-contrast image that looks absolutely stunning in motion.
The courts in Kisetsushi are an artful blend of classic design and Japanese culinary inspiration. What sets our courts apart from the pack?
Sushi, of course!
Clubs and spades showcase skilled kitchen staff preparing and delivering various foods, while hearts and diamonds feature contented customers enjoying their meals. Dive deeper into the courts, and you’ll discover countless delightful easter eggs, magical reveals, and nods to cultural phenomena that will leave you in awe.
Each Collector’s Set will have one of each: Bento, Wasabi, Ginger, and Standard editions in one of our magnetic boxes.
Bento Edition: We have worked closely with our printer to develop a completely unique tuck case for this edition. Not only will this tuck feature the same window design as the others, this one will open from the front, like a proper bento box. This edition will also feature red inner-foiling, rather than gold. With a run of only 52 decks, this is the closest you’ll ever get to opening a bento box, when you’re actually opening a deck of cards.
Wasabi Edition: We are printing 150 of the highly limited “Wasabi” edition with green holo gilding and unique numbered seals.
Ginger Edition: We are printing 300 of the limited “Ginger” edition with copper gilding and unique numbered seals.
