Legendary Tales is the limited edition of the Tales series. Include a lot of characters, good and bad, from the most popular fairy tales. The courts of Legendary are asymmetric: each card tell a story on their own. For example, Cinderella is a princess on one side, and a housemaid on the other.

Tales is a series of playing cards by Thirdway Industries, inspired by Fairy Tales, Fables, and Fantasy Books. Designed by the Italian designer Giovanni Meroni.

The main purpose of these decks is to offer you a vast array of characters with which to tell and create Fairy Tales, for both kids and adults.

Legendary Tales cards are purposely made to tell stories on their own. For example, pictured above is the famous Emperor, lavishly dressed on one side, and naked on the other (inspired by “The Emperor’s New Clothes”).

Another court card I love is the Wolf, in his true form (the King of Evil) and disguised as the Scarlet Damsel’s Granny.

As you may have guessed, Legendary Tales includes antagonists as well as heroes.
